Se han propuesto diversas interpretaciones sobre el significado de la locuci\u00f3n voluntas ut
natura para Tom\u00e1s de Aquino. Algunos autores consideran que se trata del apetito natural
del hombre como criatura racional, otros que es cierta tendencia natural de la voluntad y,
finalmente, que la noci\u00f3n de voluntas ut natura no se corresponde con la de apetito natural
en ning\u00fan sentido. Esta variedad de interpretaciones tiene repercusiones en la concepci\u00f3n
antropol\u00f3gica de la afectividad humana en una perspectiva tomasiana. Todas las variantes
interpretativas que niegan la necesidad de conocimiento en el \u00e1mbito de la voluntas ut
natura, desconectan la actividad libre del hombre y los h\u00e1bitos voluntarios de la naturaleza.
Se podr\u00eda decir que, en ese contexto, el \u00e1mbito de lo natural va por un lado, como mera
tendencia, mientras que el de lo conciente y voluntario va por otro. En este trabajo
buscamos esclarecer la noci\u00f3n de apetito natural en confrontaci\u00f3n con la de voluntas ut
natura desde una perspectiva exeg\u00e9tico textual, que de pie a una posible consideraci\u00f3n
sistem\u00e1tico-antropol\u00f3gica.

Abstract<\/strong>
Different interpretations have been proposed about the meaning of voluntas ut natura for
Thomas Aquinas. Some authors consider that it is the natural appetite of man as a rational
creature, others that it is a certain natural tendency of the will and, finally, that the notion of
voluntas ut natura does not correspond to that of natural appetite in any sense. This variety
of interpretations has repercussions on the anthropological conception of human affectivity from a Tomasian perspective. All the interpretative variants that deny the need for knowledge in the field of voluntas ut natura disconnect the free activity of man and the
voluntary habits of nature. It could be said that, in this context, the realm of the natural goes
on one side, as a mere tendency, while that of the conscious and voluntary goes on the
other. In this work, we seek to clarify the notion of natural appetite in comparison with that
of voluntas ut natura from a textual exegetical perspective, leading to a possible
systematic-anthropological consideration.
